Opinion Needed: No start problem
Ok here is a new one. When I got into my 7th gen monte this morning to take it to the dealer to do a relearn and install of the crankshaft position sensor. It didn't start the fuel range is showing --- the oil life the same as well as the gas gage isn't moving to the full mark. Like it is not getting power to the ecu/pcm. That has been changed as well as the ground has been fixed for it three weeks ago. Prior had the accelerator pedal replaced then went back into limp mode again it was the throttle body went bad. Replaced it recently ran fine but still having a rough idol do to the crankshaft position sensor. Didn't drive it because I didn't want to chance it would cause a bigger issue. I am at a loss why it is acting the way it is doing this. I think it's the ignition switch sensor that is hooked up to the cylinder lock but I don't want to keep throwing parts at it. I am affraid it's the bcm again had it replaced twice before with different symptoms. As in the pass lock wouldn't let it start. But I am confused on what happened. There was one time it would act like it would loos power as in the key got switched off then back on. But I am stumped right now.
