Default new guy with a quick question

hey everyone. i just signed up here kuz i have a 84 M.C. SS and i want to start rebuilding it. the first thing i want to do before i start tearin it down iz a major tune up so i can have a little fun before i cant drive her for a while. i would like some advice on the best plugs, wires, etc... to do the tune up. itz a bone stock 305 but has an edelbrock 650cfm carb. i had to put on it.

the carb is a standard replacment for a small blaock G.M. motor. 305,307,350,400. etc... So it is not a big deal if it is workign good then i would not worry about it to much unless you plan on driving it for more then a month or two. BUT STILL WATCH IT FOR LEAKS ETC!!

Normal tune up parts for a HEI dist. of those years.
cap,rotor, plugs and wires.

I persoannaly always did the accel parts as i never had a bad issue with them.
you cna also ge tthe make your own wires for liek 20.00 and they will hold up for this applicaton

any wires that are sold @ an auto parts store with a lifetime warranty are a good way to go

taylor wires are also good, dont think they have a warranty though, but from what i've heard they're good...they're what i sell the most of anyway
