Define "cheap" and we can help you out more.

I was thinking the same thing. To feel a significant difference in power you're probably looking at spending a grand.

some of the cheap stuff, not performance, is going to be stuff that youll just think of on your own and it will be more unique also.

$2500 is a pretty good budget- you could make your car damn quick for that. Here's one potential list:
- 1.9 ratio roller rockers ($300)
- 3" downpipe ($150)
- PLOG or front PEM ($150)
- 180* thermostat, Autolite 104 spark plugs, new few filter, tune up/maintenance items ($150)
- ZZP Short Stack Intercooler ($600)
- ZZP Stage 1 Throttle Body ($200)
- Fenderwall Intake ($50)
- ZZP Modular Pulley System, 3.25" pulley ($100)
- Dyno Tune or HP Tuners ($500)

$2300, not including the price of fluids and gaskets- would make your car a whole different beast.

You may want to email a 3800 vendor (ZZPerformance, Wbodystore) and give them your budget and see what they recommend.

$2500 is a pretty good budget- I'd like to offer up an alternative route to go- turbo. You could sell your engine's top end (supercharger and such) to an NA guy for him to swap; then pick up an NA top end for yourself (still keeping your low compression bottom end)- then add a turbo kit (you'll probably add $250 or more to your budget doing the swap since you'll get more for your top end parts)- or you could keep your top end and just do a SC blockoff plate. I know it sounds silly to get rid of one form of boost for another- but you'll see quickly that there is a reason why a lot of people go that route, even after being heavily modded while supercharged.

If you wanted to stay SC'd- I wouldn't personally bother with the SSIC (may as well do a fullsize while you're in there); a PLOG/DP (I'd go headers instead); or rockers. That kind of budget would easily allow you to pick up a cam (say like an XP that's made to work with your stock heads), a fullsize IC, and headers- especially if you get some of the stuff used.
