I am planning on getting a 383 straker with 450 hp. Im putting it in a 86 ss. My question is I have a th350 tranny and I need to know what parts I would have to replace to be able to handle that motor? Any other parts I will need to replace or beef up you can think of would be great to know? In the future I want to sc the car so I know I'll need axles and drive shaft. I already have a 3" dual exhaut Im getting. sorry for the dumb questions new to the american cars.
