Default Need Advice

Im currently in the process of rebuilding a 350 to put in my '87 SS. I am just wondering if it would be better to machine the engine block I have taken apart or should I buy a block from a crate engine. I don't wanna buy an assembeled engine because im looking to rebuild it myself as a project. Thanks.

It will be cheaper to have machine work done to your block. Doing it that way you can also have it machined to your prefered specs for the build. As long as the block isnt cracked or in bad condition I would just have it machined.
