This Monte Carlo was my neighbors and shes an elderly women. She bought the car brand new in 86. She has only put 47,000 miles on it in 20 years. I am 16 now and have wanted this to be my first car since i was 8. This car is immaculate. There is no rust or rot what so ever on this car. She drove the car maybe 4 times a week and only around town. It has a 5.0L. Her son is selling it for $,2,800. If I were to buy this car I would use it as a daily driver and it would be driven roughly 30 miles a day. My dad says that since this car was driven so rarely that driving it everyday will cause the seals and gaskets to leak. I am looking for any advice about this topic or any information that would help. Thank You, Jared.

Sounds like a super clean Monte. Does the lady have service records ? If so, check with the shop that serviced it and ask their opinion.

Well It's already to late the car has been for sale for 3 days and i didn't see it today and i called and it's already sold. What a bummer.
