well all the work was just on the motor the only thing i did to the trans were the solenoids, fluid and filter change

My trans is toast guys, i topped it off with fluid and it was no use

 

Here's what its doing.... it just slips before it gets to 20mph



I guess this is where my monte is going to sit for the next few weeks....... again
even put the old K&N back in lol

Did a shift solenoid fall out lol

 

that's what I was thinking mike! Lmao
When I replaced them I know I put the clips back on but I didn't double check them haha
Maybe I should check that first, still the motor has to come back out

 

You could have jacked it up and dropped the cradle instead

 

Dropping the cradle sounds frustrating Lol

I can probably take the motor out the car in less than a day shouldn't take a week to replace the trans once I get another one
