well ok let me see it you way for a minute then if were talking about factory swaps why the hell are we waisting out time talking a a V6 for ?? the V8 is out now and its a factory bolt in

Because the almightly V8 is a terrible value in hp/$- not to mention that no one has got one to run worth a crap compared to the tiny V6.

Look at the volume of L67s out there- they've been produced since like 96-97, and I've seen L67/4t65hd combos go for as little as $500 through the years. The LS4 has been out for what- 3 years? Also, its only been offered in 2 or 3 vehicles?

Good luck getting the engine alone for $2k, much less swapping it for that much- its not gonna happen.

As it stands right now, the 3800 V6's hold the power and 1/4 mile et records over any LS4 V8 that is a 'factory drop in'.
