Im just about to start working on the actual block disassembly tonight. Im responding with my DROID from the shop

 

What are your plans for it?

 

For the car in general or the disassembly?

 

The engine.I'm always curious when it comes to engines

 

Im going down to the lower block, so.I.can.check the heads, rocker arms, pistons and bores. Want to be sure it dosent need any machining. I hoping I will find the cause of the smoke from it, or get an idea of why it is

 

Should find it then.I think you'll find some leaky valve seals(no biggie to fix)Or maybe some worn out rings.
Do you plan on any performance upgrades?

 

Im planning on eventually making it a full out street/strip car, but I want to repair the rust damage and get the engine running as close to stock perfect as I can before adding any serious after market upgrades
