Default LIM gasket questions/Concerns--HELP!!

Hey everyone. I just bought My 2003 Monte SS-L36, non supercharged. I have 94,000 original miles on my 3800 series 2 engine and have read a lot on having to replace the factory lower intake manifold gaskets with the felpro metal "fix it " kit. The tranny is getting rebuilt right now. Although I do not think the gasket in my LIM has failed yet, is it likely it will in the near future and should I go ahead and replace it before it fails? If so any information on walkthroughs, and especially torque settings for manifold bolts/ bolt order would be greatly appreciated. I have a lot of plans but want to fix basics before issues start . Thanks!!
