Default l67 tuneing issues

Ok so I just did a l67 swap into my 2002 Monte Carlo however I am having issue having the pcm tuned everytime my buddy trys to tune the car it tells him the tune is not comparable with the pcm it makes no sence he even tryed modifying my stock tables to see if that works the car starts for about 2 secs then shuts off kinda like its a securitey issue but he has all securitey turned off so I don't know why that would happen he is using a dhp tuner any help would be great I al very eager to get this fix due to the fact I haven't ever even got to drive my new Monte anyways please and thank you for any help

Since the 02 monte never had an l67 option you need to kind of find a hybrid file of an 04 to work with your 02

You need a Monte Carlo bin, that's probably why it's not working.

Someone on here might be able to get you a bin file, or you can try DHP forums

here's the one i made for my 2003, it may or may not work for the 02 because of transmission wiring changes

and some vin/os pair issues can be worked around with the hptuners 2.23 beta https://rapidshare.com/files/1669175...e%20(Beta).msi

Jump on 3800pro.com and see if you can talk to some people for hybrid files?

There's a guy on there called: DynoBrian that offers help as well.

Here's a direct link: PCM's & Tuning - 3800Pro.com Forum
