Default L67 swap in a 02 ss

i have a 02 monte ss with 3.8 non s/c im wanting to put a s/c engine and trans into the car . i have a 97 gtp for a doner car. engine,trans wiring,fuel pump ect.I have a few questions is it a bolt in and go and do i have to do anything for my key to work with the s/c pcm ? ps i am new here so any help would be nice thanks

Do you already have the 97? Because I wouldn't use a 97 motor. It's the red-headed stepchild of the L67 world. Most stuff is only compatible with 98+

And you will need a special tune for your PCM using a modified .bin file so your abs and airbags still work.

yes i already have the 97 gtp what would i have to do to put just the super charger on the egine i have in the monte now.

I truly don't know if you can/should do it for a 97 engine. The electronics are also different so your wiring harness might not carry over.
