L36/L26 UIM/LIM Stainless Bolts
I'm tinkering with a mod for the Monte possibly this spring. I'm looking to switch my UIM from the nylon one to the L26 aluminum one. I have all the parts at this point (UIM, L26 HV3, T-body adapter, L67 T-body). In this process, I remembered the company on the Internet I found to get stainless engine kit for my friend's '89 Turbo T/A (http://alloyboltz.com).
I contacted this company and sent them an entire set of UIM/LIM bolts (as well as some additional ones I wanted) to match up. Now because of this effort, they are offering L26/L36 stainless bolt kits! You can get polished and unpolished, regular hex or allen key heads!
Attached are pics of the test fit I did in my garage with a spare LIM. I think it's a great fit!
Here are the links to there site:

Please note the pic on the site of the kit is a "stock" photo basically (not showing the actual kit itself). But the description of the bolts for the kit is correct. In the pic I have showing all the packages, the one labeled "Misc Support Bracket" is not part of the kit they are selling (that was something additional I was after).
Hope this helps some others! And I think I peaked their interest in wanting to make a more complete engine kit, so if anyone wants to help them expand their offering feel free to contact them! They are VERY helpful!

I did this right around Christmas. For being around the holidays, I felt their turn around time was awesome!
I was REALLY tempted to go for allen head bolts myself (I used them on my diagonal braces and the top bolts on my radiator mounts). I opted against them on the rest of the engine because I felt if anything happened required an away from home service, the allen key sockets are not something I typically have with me. Plus if I hose down the engine to clean it, that's a lot of extra little surfaces to clean water from.
BUT, I do think they would look AWESOME! It would definitely show a custom look.
I went unpolished as I felt ordinary stainless shows off well on it's own.
