info on est hp of my car
i have a 86 monte with a recent motor swap to a 350 crtae #12499529.it says the motor is rated art 290 hp with a single 4 barrel.my question: i have a 2x4 setup with 2x600 edlebrocks, headers and going to install a Comp 268H cam/lifter kit.everything else is stock.comp. is 8.5 to 1, rea end is 3:73 and it is a 4 spd auto.i was told that the cam was not for the car and would not make any difference. i want something with a noticiable idle plus a few more horses, will this st up and cam choice do it? thks. brian from ontario, canada.
