So a friend of mine who works at a garage said my car idles kinda high and as a result when I shift from park to drive it makes a bit of knock and takes off with a little kick and he says its probably becuz the car is idleing high. Also the car doesn't really have the jam I would like it to have. I know 305 isn't known for being a really powerful motor but it just doesn't have to kick like other small blocks I have owned. My friend suggests a new carb, removing the o 2 censors and playing with the timing. He has never done me wrong before and has worked on all my trucks and cars since I was in high school, I'm just wondering if anyone has had the same problem and what they did about it
