Default I lost a bolt down the rabbit hole

Ok, I was taking the injectors out on my monte when i dropped on of the bolts that holds the fuel rail down. If you guessed it went down the hole where the injector goes you would be correct. Is there anyway to remove this with a magnet or pincher tool? Or have I just really screwed this up.

That's probably the worst place to drop anything, but considering the manifold is aluminum you could probably fish it out with a magnet. Just might stick to the valve as well so it may be tricky. Not to knowledgeable regarding the 3.5 but I imagine it's OHV.

X2 a magnet seems to be the tool of choice!

If you can't get it out with a magnet you're gonna have to at least take it down to the heads...

I would desperately try the magnet idea and PRAY!

Do NOT start the engine until that nut/bolt is found, otherwise, bad things happen...

Victory was mine. Between the magnet and a flexible pincher tool it came right out. There was much gas from that injector it made a kerplunk when it fell in.
Now I just have to change out that injector without anything else going in. Thanks all for the suggestion.

Awesome! Having to take it down to the heads would've sucked just to get a tiny bolt out. I've had those oh $#!T moments like that too.
