I have about 1200 bucks what can I do?
I have about 1200 bucks to spend on mods that I hope can possibly get me to that 300+ horsepower? Is it possible? I already have the K&N air filter on there for cool air intake. I don't want to really change the pulley right away.. Is it possible for me to hit that 300+ hp. I have no problem getting exhaust but i don't want it to have that crappy V6 sound, it has to sound pretty good deep or so (closer to a V8 as possible). Anyone got anything good for me?
It'll be tough to gain 60hp without changing pulley sizes, but read through this guide below and you'll get an idea of what you're in for.

No way you can gain 60hp on a stock pulley. 1200 bucks could get you close though. Get headers, 1.9 rockers, pulley drop, good tune and you should see close to 300chp. 300whp is a different story though.
Or...put the $ back into the stash and add more to it before deciding what you want to do. If you 'settle' for what you can get with your current budget you'll be cursing in a couple months wishing you would have invested a bit more $ and got a lot better set up in return.
i was assuming he would do the work himself.... i do this a lot and shouldnt assume that but its second nature to as thats what i have always done... if you have to pay labor to get the parts installed you wont be getting much at all.
