I think that tool would make things a lot quicker. Iv'e mentioned that before to other people and they never heard of it and I couldn't find one on the net so I was beginning to think It didn't exist. Like I made it up in my head.lol Do you have the name or a part number for this tool. I Heard you could only get it at a GM dealer.

Though, I was thinking of retorquing the rocker bolts to make sure they are torqued correctly and not over torqued. As I don't know what the dealer did when they replace the LIM gasket a few years ago.

But then I found out those rocker bolts are torque to yield bolts. Which are a one use only bolt. So, I wouldn't want to torque them down again if the dealer did take take the out last time.

I did look around for replacement rocker bolts, but couldn't find any. Last thing one would want though is for the threads to strip out of the head.

They make reusable rocker bolts, ups the TQ rating from 12+30* to just a straight 23ft/lb

I'd probably just stick with the stock bolts. As I figure they used that type for a reason.

If the rocker bolts were overtorqued, would a problem have come up by now since it's been 40k since the LIM gasket replacement? I've read of a few having problems with the rocker bolts coming out by ripping through the threads in the head.

My luck would be torquing the bolts down, then it strips.
