Default How do I check transmission fluid in my '98 Monte Carlo?

Hi guys! I need some help. I need to put some transmission fluid in my '98 Monte Carlo, but I have no idea how.

Can anyone tell me where the fluid is located in the engine, and how to top it off?

You fill the transmission through the transmission dip stick. It should be on the back, left hand side of the engine bay. Start the car an take it for a drive until its up to operating temperature. Then park it on a flat surface and check the fluid level on the stick with the engine running. If its low, add it through the dip stick tube using a transmission funnel.

Also after you add the fluid, slowly shift through all of the gears and then put it back into park before you check again
