so not excatly sure if im posting in the right area...move it if you need to.....any way my headlight will blink only when the car is shut off and light are turned on(at night...or when switch is on) also my horn will honk when headlights flash(had to disconnect horn) and my reverse lights will flash when headlights are flashing and horn is going off (took out back up lamp relay) and it does this only when headlights are on.....but the headlights do not flash while driveing only in park when car is off.......but the horn and reverse light GO CRAZY!!!! WHILE IM DRIVING!!! has anyone else had this problem or have anyidea whats wrong and how to fix....please help me!

 

sounds like a short in the wiring somewhere. any details about the car?

When was the new engine installed..Who did it ? When ?

It's difficult to diagnose a electrical problem online, but it sure sounds like a short/bad relay or ?

sounds like something got connected wrong when the new engine got installed. could be some backwards wiring.

 

prolly 2 months ago.....by my work i work at a dealship. me and the top dog tech did it. when i drover before pulling back up lamp relay i could hear a clicking nosie from that relay (back up lamp relay) so i pullled it replaced it and idk if it still does it.....i havent heard the noise and idk if the reverse light are flashing, and when the car is in park shut off and auto lgiht r still on the headlight will blink on and off until the shut off by timer i guess? performence wise its fine its not hurting anything but its just one of those things that get down under your skin and you wonder why is it doing that.
