Default Help! Anyone had this issue....

2001 Chevy Monte Carlo SS, 3.8 V6:Started with engine surging at low rpm 1800-2200, step on gas harder to get by it-no lights or codes showing for it-passed inspection. Months later traction control & ABS lights start coming on intermittently & activating abs pump when it isn't needed-front wheel bearing hub assembly w/sensors have been replaced twice (thought maybe rec'd a bad one so replace it twice); then started having issues with the directionals-don't always work when you put them on and don't light in the dash either which happened about 6 times in the last few months; a few weeks after they another problem! voltage gauge on dash began shutting off and on intermitently and the battery light comes on; yet another problem a week after that, the security light comes on dash and the radio locks and shows "locked" on the face, both happens intermitently. Not all happen at the same time but thinking it must be some computer issue. Any one had this or should I say these problems?

It sounds a lot like a BCM issue to me.

Also seeing the Security light can usually mean a Passlock issue. (sometimes they happen at the same time)

Going to be a pretty penny if that's the case.

Thank you both for the tips! I am new to the site and not sure how to use everything yet. I will check both suggestions and keep my fingers crossed that it fixes it. Again thanking you!
