hey guys, so i have an 02 ss 3.8

when i turn to start my car it take too long until it starts all i hear is the starter kicking for about 4-5 seconds before it starts, i havent been able to use my remote starter either, i get the same problem the remote start with attempt to turn the car on but the starter goes on for about 3-4 seconds and its not enough

any thoughts?

so far i put in a new factory MAF, new cables and spark plugs, ignition control module, pretty much tuned it up xcpt the ignition coils since they are still in good shape, IAC sensor, battery was tested good

im sick of taking it from mechanic to mechanic i find my self spending money on parts that are not broken but thats another story

if anyone ran into this sort of issue or know about it please shed some light on me

Take it to somewhere that instahls car alarms...(unless you know how to reset the alarm yourself)
Have then re-set the alarm system...
It might be a PCM issue...
My 2003 Sierra...Had to be reset (alarm) because of the PCM.cause the auto start wouldnt work...I too experienced similar starting issues...They all went away once the Alarm was reset...
