It doesn't get super hot. It gets hot where it burns my fingers if I stick my fingers in the vent. Other times it just feels hot. There has to be something else that can be replaced to fix this.

2 flush
3 bleed system good,
4 make sure your blend door is working properly

A guy I worked with got his flushed and they have this huge machine that sucks the old out. I'll probably get that done. How do I check the blend door seal? I hear it move and working when I switch from defrost to upper and lower air flow.

91,000 miles and got the coolant flushed. My heat gets burning hot again. At first clear smoke came from the engine, but is was residue from the dealer when they flushed it. It went away when I let the engine cool down and restarted it.

Glad to hear it!

I try to keep Dex-cool flushed every other year. It can get pretty gross if left alone.
