Default Fuel Filter Problems

I was trying to remove my old fuel filter and I had a lot of problems. The fuel line connect to the filter is very rusted. The filter would not budge and now the bolt on the fuel line is a little stripped. Any tips on how to get it off?? Any special tools?? I really dont want to spend $40 to have someone else do it.....the filter cost me 9 bucks. Please help.

Default RE: Fuel Filter Problems

I've had good luck with penetrating oil, (and forgive me) but using vice grips. I know its not usally reccomended but if it saves money and still works I'm all for it.
