Ugh OK brothers. I can't seem to find them on either site?

Not exactly what I wanna hear but I wanna do this once and I wanna do it right.

What would these cost me through the dealer? Any idea? Can you link me to these bolts on these two sites? I can't seem to find them. I know the bolt is a M8 X 1.25 of course you probably already know this. LOL

I read online where the torque is 45 lbs for flexplate to torque converter and 50-60 for flexplate to crankshaft? We went 55 lbs on the flexplate to crankshaft.

Also was it 'OK' to reuse the bolts from flexplate to the torque converter side? I know you said don't reuse them from the flexplate to the crank but my buddy was wondering about reusing the bolts on the torque converter side?

Crap just re-read through this and you said "do not use the flex plate bolts" we assumed you meant flex plate to crankshaft? Did you mean to also not reuse the bolts from the flex plate to the torque converter?

Flex plate to converter bolts can be reused no worries there.

Excellent thanks man I really appreciate all your help on this.

Oh one more thing? Any tips or tricks to getting the subframe back up? We got it under the car and are lifting it with a jack to bolt it up we lined up the bottom motor mount and the tranny motor mount and was able to bolt up the drivers front side but the passenger side is off by like 1" or a little more? We can't figure out why this won't line up?

Now I'll give you a brief history this car was a total at one time out of the state of Illinois. Are we facing maybe some body damage and this is not going to line up now? We are hoping that maybe its because we still have the engine supported across the engine bay with a 4x4? Could that be why? So any tips or tricks? We tried to support the engine with a cherry picker so we can "rock" it or "sway" it around in the engine bay thinking that might make a difference? We are at a loss though why the mounts line up and the front driver front side bolts up but the passenger side won't?

no man i dont have any tips for you on that other than man handle it to line it up.... you can try putting like a small piece of 2x8 wood and lay it on the jack and jack up on the oil pan to try and raise the engine and see if that makes lining it up any easier... make sure you use the wood on the jack so you dont dent and kink your oil pan!

So its probably 'cause we have the engine held up with that 4x4 then? We are thinking we are going to get like 3-4 other guys over hopefully and put a guy under each corner and try to line it up that way. What I'm thinking is if the engine is not quite "right" in the engine bay which it will not be since its rocked backwards and down that this subframe will not line up then. OK thanks again and hopefully we'll have this puppy back on the road next week.

Its a shame the guy that owned it before me didn't really take care of it. It was a nice looking ride when I got it except a couple dents back on the passenger side. Dude had put a K & N filter under the hood, had Goodyear Eagle GT's all the way around, Konig Lace rims, an aftermarket Kenwood with an amp run, but he failed to do anything engine wise to it. LOL The cat was plugged, it needed new O2 sensors and then now the flexplate went out. We also found the passenger motor mounts were "finger tight" and we think that might be what broke the flexplate or contributed to it.
