Yes- they are all a gen 3 M90. Obviously you're gonna need the LIM, TB, heads, balancer, injectors, fuel rails, etc etc- but you probably already knew that. Here's a link to the list of all the parts you need in case you didn't know:

You can have your pcm flashed. You have to get the L67 MAP sensor- and that is what allows the pcm to see the boost. The new pcm tune also compensates for the new injectors, and the BBV valve among other things.

3. what is avereage junkyard price for this unit?
Just the supercharger or all the parts for a top swap? It seems $900-1100 for parts only (no gaskets/fluids) is about average if you get it all from a vendor.

If you were to buy it piecemeal online (ie clubgp, ebay)- I bet you could get all the parts for $500 or so if you are really patient and wait for good deals. It'll probably take a little bit to collect all the parts if you go this route.

For just the blower alone- that is a huge variable- online I've seen them go as low as $100 and as high as $400 or so for a stock gen 3 M90. It really depends on the condition of the rotor coating, mileage, bearing condition, etc etc.

Junkyards seem to charge much more because they think its some exotic item even though L67s are common as dirt.

Good luck- its a pretty labor intensive swap, especially since you pull everything down to the short block- unless of course you go with zzp's SS kit in which case its still a pretty hefty project.

Default RE: a few questions

I back what bumpin said.

I jsut did ZZP's SS swap, and IMO the swap wasn't too hard, but there is a lot to do. Its definately a worthwhile mod.

I bought my supercahrger on clubgp, already proted and polished for $235, you just have to wait for a good deal to come around like bumpin said, and you could easily do the entire swap for under $500

ok so it seems that if ive found a 3800 seroes II sc compleate sittin in the salvage yard for 500 bucks i should purchase the whole engine insted of just the blower to ensure i get everything i need
