I say fix and keep, but that also depends on the miles and such...but I would keep it if you love it!

It depends on how much you like her.
If you really like the car fix an keep her.Thats what i would/have done

Yea I mean this engine only has about 14,000 on it. And I do really like her. and Everyone around here loves her and the color and I guess with how much I have already put in her I should keep her cause I'll never get that back.

New update. valve broke and went through the engine intake and supercharger. So basically this mean no car for a few months till I can once again buy everything.

so you need a valve piston and new supercharger correct?

and head to macth whats in mine. and lower intake. So basically I am going to start from scratch and get a ported supercharger and intake. stage 3 ZZP heads. Si single piece valves and better pistons. just going to do a full rebuild so its done right.

Basically it sounds to me like you did a great job on the top end...
So, a detonation failure is something you wouldnt expect...
I suspect... there might have been something a little sketchy that caused that to happen...

I would just be sure now to do a complete lower end rebuild as well!

That way everything matches...So, then you should be all set!

Glad you deceided to to rebuild her.
Lookn forward to hear when you get her back and up and running again..
You made the right choice.IMO
