The engine seems to jerk, WAY too much when I rev it(from under the hood). Also, 90% of the time, if I let up in the gas and coast, and hit the gas again, I can feel it jerking and makes a clunk. Feels like theres 'slack' in the mount bushings.

That would defeat the purpose of new ones, IMO.

Theres always the option to fill your stock ones, it's a good medium between poly and stock and will stiffen the mounts decently. Heres a link to a **shudder** mazda site that has a good how-to
