Default Do I need a tune?

When I finally install my my cai, catback exhaust system, downpipe, and catalytic converter do I need a tune or will my pcm naturally adjust to it when I reset the battery?

If you get a P0420 code with your aftermarket catalytic, then you will need a tune, or an oxygen sensor spacer (don't always work) to shut that off.

Your car should compensate for the cold-air intake no problem. I would make sure you unplug the battery for an hour, and clean the MAF sensor during the install.

After I did my CAI, replace my entire exhaust system, and other upgrades, I decided to go with the ZZP 3800 tune for my Monte Carlo.

I know a few people will swear against it, but I've been using it for about a year now and really enjoy what it brought. Better / quicker shifting from start, less lag basically... and deleting that code was a plus as well. Anyways, just throwing that out there.

It doesn't look like you went with smaller supercharger pulley, or anything drastic, so the mail-order tune is fine. It's when you start getting into more boost that you want your car properly data-logged and tuned for how your car is reacting, not a canned tune. So yeah, nothing wrong with your ZZP tune!

You would be correct, haven't changed pullys (yet). Don't think I will now since the engine is leaking oil, but thanks for the affirmation.
