Default Coolant tank

Hey guys I'm looking to clean up my engine bay and I was wonderring if any one has done an aluminum coolant over flow. If so what do I need to look for when installing it? Are there sensors in ours and do I need to make sure it's at the right height and stuff?

I've installed aluminum radiator overflow tanks. I don't think height is going to effect operation, but I'd mount it in the same position as the original is now.

So any suggestions on any aftermarket ones? Like who makes a good one?

A couple of them I installed were custom made to fit the vehicle, but I've also installed tanks made by Moroso that were good quality. I'm sure other manufacturers probably offer them as well. A search for aluminum radiator overflow tanks might bring up some other options.

Ok I found this one which I really like from Weapon R. But would it be a problem that the fitting is on top for the coolant to go into but ours is on the bottom?

The link is there. click where it says Weapon R underneath what I wrote. and it says its a universal one. Thats why I asked abut the fittings being on top instead of bottom.
