5th Gen ('95-'99): Complete “Sure Fix” GM Intake Manifold Kit
#5
I just briefly looked at that, its just a refined uim. They're saying its to reduce heat on the upper end, by using aluminum lining and reducing the incoming egr pipe size. I'm not aware of having to replace the uim itself I thought it was just the gaskets? Anybody have input?

If this is a replacement UIM, this has NO effect on LIM gaskets. If you have no known problems with your UIM, I would not replace it. Instead, replace the stove pipe that goes from the LIM into the UIM with a slightly narrow one (it comes with the Dorman UIM gasket kit).
See the stove pipe in this pic:

If you MUST replace your UIM, get an APN brand one (the Bonneville guys had used this when they have to replace their UIM and love it over stock):
