If I was you, I would use nothing but ACDELCO wires and plugs, these 3.4 DOHC's LOVE stock components, I have heard of problems using spark plugs other them OEM. Just my advice.

yep these engines dont like many plugs... i recently tried to use NGK iridum plugs. and they arent bad, but my old plugs i felt were better.

my fav plug right now is the AC Delco Rapid fire platnums. they lasted a long time and worked well.

I just picked up all my parts including delco platinum plugs and delco wires. WOW are those wires expensive!
Anyways, it's gonna be a little while 'til I start this job as I am going out of town all next week.
Something to look forward to when I get back. <LOL>

Glad you went with OEM parts, yes 3.4 DOHC wires are expensive, some of the longest boots you will see on a set of wires! Another thing that will really wake that 3.4 DOHC is a Fuel Injector Service. SMooths out your idle, gives you more power and better accelleration. That is true for any car I suppose, I just found when I had that service done on mine, it made a BIG difference!
