How mechanically inclined are you?
Search for the term "Top-Swap" and you should find a ton of information. You would basically need to find a supercharged 3800, and purchase basically the top half of the whole engine and put it on your car and have it tuned for it.

If you're on a budget, forget about buying brand new. Like Chibi said, search "top swap" to find out the cheapest way to supercharge your engine. Also consider doing an all out engine swap, which would make less hp, but you would be less likely to mess something up.
Lastly, check out the sticky that's in this section at the top of the threads: https://montecarloforum.com/forum/ni...-bumpin-24895/

There is no bolt on 'new' supercharger kit for your engine, so that's out. There are many options used from an MP112, to a Whipple, TVS, CSC, etc- but all kits would have to be used (as the kits are now discontinued), or require custom parts (as some kits are not complete).
A top swap is the cheapest route- putting an M90 off a supercharged 3800 on it, but you're still talking a minimum of $500 if you're good at finding cheap used parts with fluids and gaskets and such. Could be $1k+ if you have to buy a set like WBS sells. So it depends what your budget is....

I did have a conversation about putting a CSC on the car. They are able to remake the parts of the kit that are needed, because they still have the ability. It's just one-off makes from now on, so just to buy the bar that attached the CSC to the accessory belt costs about $700 now
By the end of "building" another kit for the CSC, you will be WELL over the price of the turbos that ZZP offers.

I agree, it is just nice to know that they will still work with you and support that kit even though they don't sell it anymore.
Definitely something that I will be keeping an eye out for while saving up for my Turbo after I get my DD. It's the only thing I would do besides the turbo on my car.
