Problem solved. Didn't even read the code. I sound like a dumba$$ but I will now check a car over 10 times more when I but another one used. It was 2 quarts low on tranny fluid. Light went off too. I know im and idiot and should have checked that multiple times but i'm used to buying new cars and not having to worry about that. So when he drove it at high RPM's it just triggered my sensor that the fluid was low. Works great now.

Hmm....well, I am glad it is fixed.

2 quarts low is A LOT. Crap man, your lucky you didnt burn up your tranny. But just keep an eye on it for a while, just to make darn sure it is not leaking.

Also, tell your friend to keep his paws off your car!

i sometimes get the slip when making a sharp left turn and gas it. this past winter, i had a leak from my trans cooler lines. i guess it was from me slowing down by putting it in 3rd or second gear on the freeway when it was cold
