Changing spark plugs on the 3800 was no fun.

Yeah I still have no clue why GM added that to this car...
It was custom ordered and built and delivered to Pennsylvania, no clue why they figured I needed some extra emissions pumps.
And we've talked about the removal so much Jason
I'm sure I'll get to it... eventually

to be honest I love the 3800 engine the 3500 is the same way but has more room but not much. I rather have the 3800 any day even with the quarks with the 3800 as in the lim and the coolent elbows. I rather have that fix those and have some thing awesome. but with the 3500 the oil filter is on the bottom close to the radiator. I love that but wish I had the 3800 though nothing that a oil relocator would fix

The 3500 is a 60* v6, based off the 3400 product line. Doing plugs on a 3400 is a BREEZE! Never had any type of issue with reaching those ones.

I did drive my grandma's 3500 powered Impala a few times when she was still alive though. Seemed fairly responsive enough, but I seem to remember having to give it a little extra throttle at low RPM.
