Default Car stalls out please help!

hey guys i know i might be in the wrong forum for this but this seems to be the only forum where people respond regularly. Heres the dilema I'm trying to fix ma girlfriends car the best i can, it just came from the shop for a tranny rebuild, i literally just changed the upstream 02 sensor today, i was looking for a MAF but this car dont have one. what it does is high idle around 1500rpm, and when i take it from park to drive it acts as though it wants to stall out on me, sometimes it does. if i put it in N or back to park it goes to high idle again. If i were to stop at a redlight sometimes it would stay at 900rpm or act up again as if it were to stall out. The car is a 95 mitsubishi eclipse non-turbo. Im hoping someone can point me in the right direction THANKS FOR ANY COMMENTS OR INFO

well Im not familiar with that car, but the symptoms sound like a vac leak. I would check all the vac lines. esp if the trans had a vac pressure modulator like the 4t60e trans that our cars had,
