Boosting + camming an aging drivetrain?

If its any help, my last readings on my l67 were all 170-180ish. I did not do it myself tho.
This was immediately after the engine got hydro locked. I also have never really taken it easy on the drivetrain either. Engine frequently sees 6100rpm. Just to give something to reference.
One more thing. I was always under the impression you keep turning the engine until the gauge quits raising.

I see, these engines seem to take tons of abuse and still be ready to kick ***. I believe cranking it only four times is where I went wrong, so when I get my kit from Amazon I’ll do a proper retest and try not to lose my fitting.
