On a stock 2004 Monte SS supercharged i'm only seeing 5psi-6psi max. How much boost do you guys
show on a totally stock SS? Is my boost too low?? I had a '99 Regal GS that showed 8psi to 8.5psi. It was
owned by a 60 year old woman so i assume it was stock.
Thx Dennis

I don't see anymore than 5 psi. I need to scan my PCM to see if i'm getting any knock. If not i might add a 3.5 pulley and see how much boost i get.
I can't wait for the day i switch to a turbo kit with 14 psi.

Well i just scanned my car using AutoTap. I only saw .4 degree of KR at WOT. And no KR at part throttle. Does anyone know how
i can see what my max boost is while using AutoTap? I don't see an option for boost in AutoTap. It sure looks like it's safe to run a 3.5 pulley since i'm
barely showing any KR.

Idk maybe Im wrong. It seems in my car at least, the smallest amount of KR KILLS power..
However with that small of an amount of knock, youll probably be "safe" at least if you wanted to try a smaller pulley then deal with KR after the fact. Better flow, cooler intake temps, higher octane..

Imo, I would eliminate the KR before dropping sizes.. You may drop sizes which will most likely raise knock, reducing power. Youll be left with less power than before you started..

U bend delete is always a good idea. Other plans sound good.. I see you dont mention headers, good. I dont think until youre making 10+ psi youre gonna benefit from them. With all the crap I have done, headers still dont help me. I actually have lost power from them but they look too good to go back to stock manifolds. I see up to 12psi at times.

Could have just been false knock then.. I get that sometimes.
