after oil change
Read the can, but I thought this was fuel cleaner, top end. Not oil cleaner. I just put it in the gas tank.

The seafoam really works it majic in the intake or in the fuel. With the car off pull a vacuum hose (like the big thing going to the brake boost housing) it has a one-way valve, make sure this stays in the brake booster housing, and you only pull the vacuum hose itself.
Once this is done have the buddy turn on the car (might need justa littlebit ofthrottle, with this large of a vacuum loss the car will be sputtering)
While running pour maybe 1/3rd of the can, maybe half a can, directly in that hose, a small funnel will help, allthough if you have a steady hand, and are really careful, it can be done without one. Once you've finished pouring how much you want, let the car idle for a second or two to clear the line, then have your friend turn the car off. The faster you can pour without killing the enginethe better, the car will sputter, and you will definitely need to have someone there to play with the throttle. If you're going slow the exhaust might start to smoke before you turn the car off, but be sure that you do turn it offquickly after pouring in the seafoam.
Allow the car to sit for 5-10 minutes, this allows the seafoam to really work out all the carbon and gunk in the intake. While it's sitting put the rest in the fuel, or maybe a little bit in the oil. A full can in the intake will be overkill, the car will have burnt off much of it before you've finished.
Once it has sat, reconnect the brake vacuum hose (if u haven't already) and turn the car on, it'll still be sputtering, so give it some gas. Play with a revs/throttle a bit without hitting the RPM limiter, or just go take a drive. This will burn off the remaining seafoam, (big smoky stinky clouds, lots of fun :-D ) And everone outside will be looking at you like you're crazy, but they just don't realize that you're really helping your car.
Give it a good run for it's money, some full throttle time will be beneficial, especially under load, the more gunk you can combust, the less there is sapping away useful horsepower.
The car should run better, once you've finished, I've seen ppl get 2 MPG from cleaner alone (confirmed it myself, thank you!)
If you're really determined onusing more than one can, use half of one can in the intake, half in the oil, (before next oil change, figgure how many miles on one tank of gas, and put this in the oil that number of miles before an oil change) and then one full can in the gas tank.
I myself didn't put any in the oil, since I already run synthetic, so I know my crank should be pretty clean.
