p0171 gone
Well, Ive been proved wrong.
Not like its never happened before..
After some head scratching and test drives. A P0131 finally showed up.. I replaced the O2 sensor and now the car drives perfect.. Not even the p0171 came back. All the antifreeze that was being passed trough the exhaust ruined the sensor.
All is good now.
Chalk that one up to experience.

fixed!
Hey..
Just wanna say after all is said and done. I finally fixed my car to a working state.
Apparently it had come down to the heads being warped.
The remedy was to take the heads to the machine shop and have them milled down to a .006 of an inch.
Aleman:
After reassembly, everything worked good. I'm still blowing the code P0171. Which means the air is too lean. Any idea what that's all about? You said you replaced the Oxy sensor but which one? (I assume the one in the back of the rear head?)
I'm not worried so much about it because I actually have a drivable car now.
For anyone else:
I also have more videos to add to my 3.4L how to videos as well. I'll keep you posted on here and my other thread.

Well, mine kept poping the P0171 and nothing else. Then I took it for a long drive and the P1031 came up. It hadnt untill then. That told me wich sensor. I assume you will have the same if you have ruled out any possible vaccum leak.
Good luck bro!
