hey guys i have a 1997 Monte Carlo 3.1 V6 i broke the housing that the thermostat sits in an the block over tied the bolt an snaped the housing anyone now a cheap way to fix? thankx

 

You could try j b weld but I think replacing it is your only option. I don't know if somewhere like auto zone would carry that part tho. It my be a dealer only part. You could also get one front a junkyard or from someone parting out a car with a 3.1

 

Any pics? I've never heard of this happening.
