79 needs new engine

Currently its running with the orginal 305 V8 and i want to upgrade im not trying to race or anything but i wanted a bit more of a punch in the engine any suggestions would be helpful.

You can't go wrong with a sbc 350.It's cheap to find/build an bolts right in
