Default 77 Monte Carlo Engine Electrical Harness

Hi All,

I have a 77 Monte Carlo that is needing some work and my first goal is to deal with the engine compartment electrical harness. I have found that a majority of the connectors of the harness are failing due to age. The plastic connectors in some cases are all but gone leaving just the metal spades/blades and the wire.

So has anyone tried and can recommend a replacement harness that actually fits and works correctly? I realize that there are harnesses available but, I don't want to end up with something that is functionally worse than what I already have.

Thank you for your help

Painless wiring makes engine harness's for the 2nd gens there not too bad on price.I tend to just repair as I go on mine but most my harness is in great shape
