That pic is too funny. I see TWO engine blocks and a trans in the pic!

 

i am still kinda wondering how hard it is to put in a 3800 into a engine bay of a 3500 monte because i still like the 3800. pluse the supercharger as well as the aftermarket yea but i still like his engine.

 

Was just browsin when I saw the pic, and was like- wait, that's mine! lol


Yeah, that was a quick picture I snapped the day after I got back from stripping the GTP. I pushed the other engine on the stand into the pic- it normally sat back behind the couch. I had originally bought the other block, along with some rods and pistons- because I got them for dirt cheap, and had considered piecing it together. Found out it was going to be way easier just to buy a whole setup (hence all the parts on the floor).

I ended up clearing all the stuff out of the coat closet (just behind me in the pic)- and put all of the stuff on the floor into the closet so it was organized (and hung up some pegboard on the wall for my tools).

But yeah, the engine was built on that stand, pretty much where it is in the pic.

Good times... I miss college
