Default 3400 to 3800 HELP PLZ

i have a 2000 monte carlo LSi want to boost it but even if it is possible that motor isnt known to be very reliable as is, boosting not good.

what i want to know is what will i need to swap a 3.8 supercharged (or not) into the car, i have no idea if its true or not but the gm dealership says the conversion is not easy cuz its entirely different mounting (what am not sure of is if that guy is an actual mechanic or just a receptionist lol), i have seen ss bfr and it doesnt look different , well i seen it from top viewlol i have no idea if its actually different set up or not, they look the same when u pop the hood but will they mount the same ?

any1 know anything about this? i really need to put 3.8 soo i can supercharge it.
selling the car and buying an SS is not an option lol, every1 locally who has an ss will never let it go.

what i want to know is what will i need to swap a 3.8 supercharged (or not) into the car,
L67, 4t65hd, buy an axle from a local parts store for the passenger side of an 04 monte ss supercharged, pcm reflash, etc

I've never done it in a newer monte, but I would assume you should try and get an engine bay wiring harness from a 00 monte with a 3800 NA, and just buy the L67 swap wiring harness piece (converts the wiring from non-supercharged to supercharged, only like $25 at www.zzperformance.com)

i have no idea if its true or not but the gm dealership says the conversion is not easy cuz its entirely different mounting
I bet they're wrong. My 3100 in my 5th gen should be the same mounting upper and lower as your 3400, and my L67 (s/c 3800) bolted right into all 4. If they've never done an L67 swap before, I wouldn't listen to any of their advice. I'd also search on www.motorswap.org I'm sure someone has done the exact conversion.
