Default 3.8 monte carlo

hey guys i just got a 84 monte carlo with a 3.8 (buick motor) and the guy that owned it before started with some mods like headers and duals aluminum intake and 4bbl carb so its a little better than stock but not alot !!! so my question is can i take the top end from a 3800 s/c FWD car to do something like the grand national(dont care about turbo's )but i would like to boost it and have it EFI so if anybody knows any thing please let me know

I would go the turbo version. Might be easier to install without having to worry about the upper manifold.

im not entirely sure your G.N. block is th same as the newer 3800 block. so you might not beable to do a top end swap to the blower. your safest bet would be the turbo swap. or just drop in a new L67 supercharged engine. (l67=3800 SC) that way you have a much newer engine, the computer harness and all the goodies. it will take some work to get it to work with a manuel trany im sure. but its doable. and would be sweet!
