Default 3.8 differences

What is the difference between the 3.8 turbo engine and a regular 3.8 engine? I am wondering if the difference is just the intake and exhaust or was the turbo motor built differently. My. 81 turbo car has a regular 3.8 in it right now. I think it is the original turbo block with a regular top end on it. I have acquired the complete top end from an 80 Monte turbo that I need to rebuild. Any suggestions would be helpful. Thanks Gregg

I'm not sure, but the main differences would be the headers/exhaust manifold, intake, and likely lower compression (on the turbo motor)
