My gut says "yes", but honestly, I don't know for sure. Unless you can find the 100% answer, I would approach it this way:
- Perform a PCM Security relearn.
- If that process does not get the car to start, you will probably need the PCM adjusted.
- If you need the VIN added to the PCM and don't need a full tune, I could extend you my services mentioned in the thread below (as I can do more then Montes and Impalas):

Just bounced you an e-mail. Like I mentioned, not sure if the VIN number needs swapped or not, but if it does, I can do it.
My hope is that a PCM re-learn procedure will get it going, but I honestly don't know without doing more research.
