Default 3.4 to supercharged 3800 swap in a 2000 monte

hello im a new member i own a 2000 mc with the 3400 and i was wondering if i could swap a supercharged 3800 from a 97 buick riviera and if its possible what do i need off of the donor car thank you

thanks that link was very helpful the only question i stil have is the backwards compatability because i would be putting an older motor into a newer car i might just wait until i find a 3800 that is from a 2000 or newer vehicle i just hate this 3400 though lol

As long as the engine is a series II 3800 SC, it wont really be going backwards, since the L67 in the 2004-2005 was a series II.
