Rumor has it that the 2006 Monte's and Impala's are getting V8's but they will still be front wheel drive. Another disappointing thing I have heard is that the HP is only going to be in the 290's. PFYC has an aftermarket turbo kit that will get you there with our stock 3.8's now.

The future for the Monte does not look good as far as HP goes, but I still love the body style. Have you guy's seen the 2007 concept Camaro??

I am debating whether to hold out for the new Camaro or get a GTO next. Either way, I am getting something way faster once the Monte is paid off. Oh yeah, and I will be keeping the Monte too.
